Purpleheart and Wenge Orthodox Wall Cross

Handmade Orthodox Wall Cross. Made from Purpleheart and inlayed with Wenge. Finished with a Foodsafe Hardwax finish. Keyhole slot cut in the back for wall hanging.

I originally made this cross with the lenten colours in mind. The purple vestments and altar coverings with their black embroidery are immediately brought to mind in this somber combination.

Measures 6” tall. Due to natural variations in wood the cross you receive may differ slightly in grain and colouring from the ones pictured
