Walnut and Ash Orthodox Wall Cross

Wooden Orthodox wall cross. Made from Walnut, inlayed with Ash. Each cross is flattened and sanded to a natural shine, then finished with a hardwax oil.

Walnut and White Ash are both traditional furniture woods in North America. The darkness of the Walnut is contrasted and accented by the brightness of the Ash inlay. I find that the grain and texture adds something to the cross that a simpler wood would not.

Keyhole cut into the back for convenient wall hanging. Measures 12.5”x6.75”

Due to natural variations in wood the cross you receive will differ slightly in grain and colour than the ones pictured.
