Red Oak and Walnut Orthodox Wall Cross

Wooden Orthodox wall cross. Made from Red Oak and inlayed with Black Walnut. Each cross is flattened and sanded to a natural shine, then finished with a hardwax oil. Keyhole cut into the back for convenient wall hanging.

Red Oak has been a staple in North America for hundreds of years. Its abundance has made it the wood of choice in home finishes and furniture, flooring, and cabinetry. I think it pairs beautifully with the black walnut, the contrast elevates the otherwise humble wood and helps showcase its character.

Due to natural variations in wood the cross you receive may differ slightly in grain and colouring than the ones shown in the images. Measures 12.5”x6.75”
